Travel Team Information

Brantford CYO Girls Basketball Travel Teams

The Travel Teams are made up of players who try out and are chosen by the coaches. Each team will compete in Basketball Ontario Sanctioned games and/or tournaments at the level that is appropriate for the skills and experience of the team based on the recommendations of the coaches. The cost of being on a Travel team will vary, as the cost is based on how many tournaments a team goes in, the cost of each tournament and how many players are on a team. All Brantford CYO Girls Basketball Travel Teams enter the Provincial Championships organized by the Ontario Basketball Association.

Brantford CYO Girls Basketball Travel Teams will consist of as many teams as there are interested participants and coaches. Teams will typically consist of a minimum of 10 players and a maximum of 12. Basketball Ontario states a minimum of 12 players are to be registered for divisions Novice to Major Atom, and a minimum of 10 players must be registered for divisions Bantam to Juvenile (CYO will enforce this rule). Midget Girls U15 (Under 15 Born in 1998 or younger)

Major Midget Girls U16 (Under 16 Born in 1997 or younger)
